Can Wike , Bwala and their band of recruited , handsomely paid political mercenaries, show us why they should not undergo or be subjected to mental health and substance abuse evaluation, rehabilitation and treatment, based on the questionable degree of mental wellness and what prompted their maniacal beliefs to drum support for President Tinubu’s dismal service records, which to all intents and purposes, do not credibly support a Second Term in office as President .
Knowing that the odds are against the President due to genuine lack of leadership support, trust and confidence from Nigerians , why choose to be diehard supporters of the President, whose poor, woeful, performance numbers , can hardly support and save a sinking politician at that top echelon of power , who had the opportunity and blank checks to prove his leadership mettle, but failed in improving the the standard of living of the people better than he met it .
The political incongruous alignment between Wike , a PDP politician and Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT , Abuja , at the moment and the President, an APC Flag Bearer, is absurdly and utterly disgraceful and unacceptable, which’s why, President Tinubu remained hypnotized at Wike’s pleasure, whims and caprices , contrary to the interests of the people of Rivers State, from where they both continued to toil with constitutional functions and operations of the Rivers State Government .
Those heating up the polity , blindly singing,”upon your mandate, we stand ,” and running amok,breaking the law right , left and center, seem to have one common objective in mind , while insisting on backing an unwilling horse against the will of the people, leaves a lot to contemplate and be desired .
They’re united in giving their bulldozer support to Tinubu , whom they knew is easily manipulated, deceived, convinced, confused and overwhelmed in matters of democratic principles, norms , values and standards, conventionally acceptable tenets of democracy, which Tinubu feigned ignorance of and total lack of faith in our democracy .
They know that the man they’re ready to kill on his behalf and do all crooked things to support his re-election, is not a good political game player , not a serious reformer and national hero , anointed to fix Nigeria and restore her lost glories , after confronting her intractable problems from the roots , rather than worsening the situation more messy than he met it .
Nigerians have every reason to believe that , those who sold their souls , consciences and disposed themselves to do Tinubu’s political bidding, unperturbed by his age , declining cognitive abilities, are themselves out of their minds, as they purposely refused to be on the right side of history .
They prefer to be stressing the old baba , in favor of their selfish aggrandizement .
They’re pursuing impossible agenda in contemporary times when the political tide is changing and shifting from public perception, even though Tinubu’s comrades in corruptly inducing INEC , the Judiciary and Security, without standing up for fair , free , credible and transparent elections, unless the take power , by robbing the people’s mandate, are still living in a fool’s paradise .
Why are they afraid of marketing their Pay Master Boss and candidate to Nigerians, whose voting power, should decide the fate of political office seekers ?
Why are they afraid of pressing the National Assembly to effect necessary legal reforms in the Electoral Act , which Senate President, Akpabio and his kill-joy Team opposed and bastardized, with unthinkable and undemocratic provisions to widen their roles for rigging for their man in 2027 ?
It’s an act of political stupidity, expecting that , Nigerians would continue to tolerate the unfortunate role of the National Assembly in collusion with the Presidency in the continuous assaults and destruction of our democracy .
After all, 2027 would never be 2023 , when Tinubu , Buhari and INEC Chairman, Mamoud Yakubu , staged a place civilian coup , with the brazen robbery of the people’s precious mandate.
Peter Obi, the projected winner of the 2023 Presidential elections, wasted time in heading to the Tribunal and the Courts to prove that he truly won the election, without appreciating the degree of corruption that impeded the justice of his case , notwithstanding the compelling evidence admitted in the Election Petition , but never taken into consideration.
This time around, while Tinubu , the APC and their clandestine riggers , are busy strategizing ahead with their insane plot to suppress and override the will of the people again , the Opposition and Nigerians, are not losing sleep in matching, meeting and beating them up in their old political gimmicks, gambits and game of underground corruption .
Those who blindly signed their death warrants, may not live to tell the story of their shameful exit from our planet, after thriving in years in elections rigging .
Those who collected billions in order to rig for Tinubu , Akpabio and the APC, are not different from those terrorists and bandits terrorizing innocent, law-abiding Nigerians .
If Wike and his group felt that they can do and undo , without realizing that their actions and efforts would be an exercise in futility, they should’ve thought about the magnitude of their punishment at God’s hands and determination .
If they in their jaundiced miscalculations, while promoting miscarriages of justice in all government institutions , believe that NO ONE IN NIGERIA AND THE WORLD HAS MONOPOLY OF VIOLENCE.
THOSE WHO MAKE PEACEFUL CHANGE IMPOSSIBLE, MAKE VIOLENT CHANGE INEVITABLE .
It’s not surprising that President Tinubu took huge delight and responsibility in settling his errand boys with jumbo , juicy political appointments for doing his bidding , without due regard to meritocracy and their antecedents .
Those he settled through Ministerial, Ambassadorial, Higher Judicial and other Appointments, would have a hard time finding appropriate reasons to market and sell Tinubu’s candidacy to Nigerians and justify his bid for re-election before Nigerians .
Our democracy is anchored on the Rule of Law and not on cash and carry , based on political might , as most of those ingratiating themselves before Tinubu and telling him lies about his qualifications and chances for continuation in office beyond 2027, behave like tail wagging dogs .
Will they ever encourage and allow their man , participate and stand for presidential debates in due course , which are the icon of the American Democracy we copied , instead of hiding him forever from voters and Nigerians, who are more eager to assess those running for office .
Nigerian Politicians, should undergo requisite mental evaluation and substance abuse tests, in order to seek rehabilitation and treatment, as most of them, are mentally unstable and sick , and in great need of help , when you recount their behaviors in public .
Those who continued to persuade Tinubu , to hang in there and stand for re-election, without helping the old Baba to abdicate and take an honorable bow , in order to allow candidates like , Peter Obi , etc , with the capacity, competence, right age , unassailable service records , to move Nigeria forward and address our national woes , which emasculated our patriotic efforts, and turnaround our bedeviled country, still stagnated under the rotten status quo , are enemies to our democracy .
Those who enabled President Tinubu and other old political dudes of the wasted generation of the present ruling class,to constitute obstacles in the proper political and economic emancipation and development of our unfortunate country, will forever be damned and punished by God Almighty, Who solely owns Nigeria as His heritage .
They cannot continue to hold Nigeria and Nigerians at ransom for their selfish political interests , after murdering sleep is and hoping to be fairly treated by God , History and Humanity .
It’s not done .
Current efforts championed by Wike and CO in APC , may end up being an exercise in futility, when Nigerians and the world, reject their criminal atrocities in colluding with INEC and other undemocratic forces , to thwart the will of the people , what do they expect would be their ultimate punishment from above ?
Realizing that many people of their political ilk from the 1st , 2nd , 3rd and 4th Republics , had gone , doesn’t that prick and agitate their consciences, to slow down, stop defending the indefensible, and taking Nigerians for granted .
After these perilous times , it’s hoped that the will of the people, shall prevail over the will of political robbers in government, who merely reap where they did not sow .
There’s no doubt that the democratic forces of good , would prevail over the undemocratic forces of evil, holding Nigeria hostage and undermining our resolve to make democracy work in our land .
Unless we demand and compel politicians in government, to account and embrace Accountability as a democratic tenet , norm , value , principle and standard , they would continue to play the ostrich as if political evil is a norm to be exploited and applauded, without repercussions and retributions .
We have no democracy in Nigeria, as all democratic institutions were made to lose and disclaim their independence while discharging their legal functions, after being demonized and corruptly induced , making Nigeria a butt of political joke in the International Community .
Let’s watch , wait and see, where these degrees of political recklessness, corruption,lawlessness, wickedness, complacency, diehardism, gullibility and gross inability to stop the optics of insecurity, terrorism, banditry, kidnappings and senseless killings of fellow citizens, will take us , without honest government confrontation and appropriate action .
